Community Conversation on Homelessness

L to R: Commissioner Bridson, Marco Bulnes and Val Romeo

Please join Marshall Kilgore and me as we lead a Community Conversation on homelessness in Kent County. We will meet on Sunday, November 10 from 2-4 pm at Broad Leaf Local Beer. Joining us will be keynote speaker Judge William Kelly. Judge Kelly has served the Kentwood community as Kentwood’s first and only district court judge. Judge Kelly was elected in November of 1978.

Judge Kelly is a longtime resident of Kentwood, and is a parishioner of Saint Mary Magdalen. He is a father of five children. Judge Kelly has a great interest in technology and he looks for ways that technology can better serve the justice system and the community of Kentwood.

Two of the panelists joining the discussion will be Kent County Commissioner Stephen Wooden and Wende Randall, Executive Director of the Essential Needs Task Force. We will be announcing the other panelists in the weeks to come. RSVP for the
Community Conversation on Facebook and watch for future announcements.

Special thanks to
Broad Leaf Local Beer who will donate a portion of proceeds from this event to The Refugee Education Center.
