National Night Out – Wyoming Kids Back-to-School Support Event

Join us for Wyoming National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, from 5:30–8:00 PM as we come together to support local families and help students start the 2026/2027 school year with confidence.

This family-friendly evening is all about building community, creating fun memories, and making sure Wyoming kids have access to the essentials they need before heading back to school. Guests can look forward to an evening filled with activities, community partners, giveaways, food options, and opportunities to connect with neighbors, local businesses, and organizations that care about our kids.

Families attending the event will have access to back-to-school support including backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, haircut opportunities, snacks, and food vouchers as available. Every child who attends will receive support through the full sponsorship package, thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, and community partners.

Event Highlights May Include

Families can enjoy a variety of fun and helpful activities throughout the evening, including:

• Backpack and school supply distribution

• Free back-to-school haircut opportunities

• Hygiene kits and personal care supplies

• Snacks and food voucher support

• Bounce houses

• Yard games and kid-friendly activities

• Tug-of-war

• Indoor bingo

• Balloon animals

• Face painting

• Books for kids

• Community partner exhibit booths

• A collaborative kids’ handprint mural project

We are also working with local businesses and organizations to bring in food options, including pizza, root beer floats, food trucks, and other family-friendly meal and snack opportunities.

The South Kent Chamber Foundation is helping coordinate sponsorships and donations for this community effort. Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels:

Full Sponsorship – $50
Includes a haircut, backpack with back-to-school supplies, hygiene kit, and food voucher.

Backpack Sponsor – $40
Includes a backpack with back-to-school supplies, hygiene kit, and food voucher.

Haircut Sponsor – $35
Includes a haircut, hygiene kit, and food voucher.

Hygiene Sponsor – $25
Includes a hygiene kit and food voucher.

Although the sponsorships are categorized, every child who attends the evening event will receive all of the items included in the Full Sponsorship package. These sponsorship levels are simply creative ways to help raise funds and maximize support for Wyoming kids.

We are still looking for community partners who can help provide:

We are seeking a financial underwriter to help make Wyoming National Night Out possible by bridging the gap to cover event expenses and ensuring local students receive backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, haircut opportunities, and food support. Your sponsorship will directly help Wyoming kids start the 2026/2027 school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported.

• Hair stylists and barbers willing to provide vouchers for back-to-school haircuts

• Root beer keg donation

• Food sponsors and food trucks

• School supplies

Sponsors will be recognized through online live event page sponsor logos, social media nods, sponsor logo banner recognition at the event, and the opportunity for an exhibit booth at the event.
