Kentwood Summer Concert Series – The Moxie Strings

Come hear the music of the The Moxie Strings, Thursday, July 19 at the Kentwood City Hall lawn from 7:00-8:30pm. The Moxie Strings are re-defining strings’ role in contemporary music and offer listeners the unique opportunity to experience two of the world’s best-known instruments through a young, progressive lens. They compose the majority of their pieces and arrange melodies from many traditions, resulting in a genre-blurring blend of ear-catching melodies and foot-stomping, rock-influenced rhythms.

Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair, and are welcomed to bring their own beer or wine to the show. Plus we’ll have food from Silver Star Café, Pizzaiolo and Ananda Ice. Join us on the lawn for Summer evening fun!
