The City of Wyoming is excited to accept applications for 2023 seasonal employment! Apply now for seasonal positions beginning this spring or summer.
The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for seasonal maintenance staff to maintain City parks that are loved by the Wyoming community. Employees in these positions play an important role in park maintenance – mowing, preparing ball fields, greeting park patrons, and other valuable work maintaining high-quality City parks. Seasonal employees may also have the opportunity to work special events, such as Concerts in the Park and other festivals and gatherings.
The City of Wyoming has 21 parks and almost 700 acres of parkland that are outstanding and are well used by our community. These parks include splash pads, nature preserves, ponds, baseball and soccer fields, playgrounds, pickleball courts, and much more.

The position's hours and availability are flexible and depend upon applicants’ availability. Normal schedules for the position are from 7 AM – 5 PM and 12 PM – 10 PM, Monday through Sunday. Applicants hired into the position may work up to 38 hours per week for a maximum of 25 weeks, though flexible schedules are available.
