The City of Kentwood and Wyoming-Kentwood Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to offer a small business training program for Kentwood businesses. We also welcome home-based businesses in Kentwood.
\n\nThe program will give you an opportunity to invest in the future of your business. It will consist of four sessions covering essential business topics including marketing\, finance and customer service. Businesses who complete all four sessions will earn a free two-year Wyoming-Kentwood Chamber membership\, getting access to the chamber&rsquo\;s valuable network and business resources.
\n\nSessions will take place May 23 and 30\, and June 6 and 13 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Kent District Library &ndash\; Kentwood (Richard L. Root) Branch\, 4950 Breton Ave. SE.
\n\nTrainings will include:

\n\n&bull\; \;Effective Marketing Techniques 101 \;&ndash\; Learn more about modern marketing techniques that will help you reach new customers.
\n\n&bull\; \;Building Business Financial Knowledge 101 \;&ndash\; Find out more about accounting\, banking and proper bookkeeping practices to help your business be successful.
\n\n&bull\; \;Sales and Customer Service 101 \;&ndash\; Get insight on strategies to help increase sales and customer retention.
